Today, 21st August 2021, saw the first ‘proper’ coffee meet of the Glasgow Moggies.
About 1300hrs six Moggies braved the relentless rain, from as far afield as Edinburgh, to converge on the Riverside Museum, Glasgow.

Around nine owners, and some of their families, enjoyed good conversation and admired a beautiful selection of Morris Minors.

Their spirits were not dampened by the wet weather, the poor food on offer from the catering van or lack of cooperation from the Riverside Museum management. That is to say they didn’t want the Moggies at the front of a museum full of historic vehicles “in case they dripped oil”. Yes, you read that correctly.

In any case it was an enjoyable event, with the next meet planned for September. Details TBC at time of writing.
