On Sunday 2nd July we took eight Moggies to display them at an open day at Bridgeton Bus Garage.
Upon our arrival a blue oily diesel fog hung high in the air of Bridgeton Bus Garage, much like the thick smoky haze you’d have seen in a pub pre-smoking ban. Evidently a few of the old workhorses had rumbled into life shortly beforehand in readiness for the day.

The garage is home to approximately 140 classic and vintage buses (and lorries). The vehicles are all privately owned.
On the day the Bridgeton Garage laid on free vintage bus rides through Glasgow.

Club members enjoyed refreshments at the Clippies’ Cafe. Our Morris Minors were admired by many people and it was a pleasure to interact with so many classic vehicle enthusiasts.

Upon leaving the relative comfort of the dry garage the procession of Moggies was almost immediately subjected to large summer raindrops as they began falling en-masse from the dark grey sky. But not before volunteers at the garage managed to take a couple of convoy photographs for us.
We extend our thanks to Bridgeton Bus Garage for having us.
