Drymen Show 2024

A number of Glasgow Moggies made their way to the excellent Drymen Show, which our Vice Chairman is involved in organising.

Drymen Show was a fun filled family day out on the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond.

Drymen Show offered a wide range of entertainment and educational attractions representing the best of our local farming and rural communities.

On the day there was a wide range of top class judging of some of the finest livestock including: Clydesdale Horses, Highland Ponies, Light Horses, Cattle and Sheep.

There were numerous other attractions also including a fun fair, trade stands, main ring attractions and pet and craft tents.

A number of classic cars were displayed and judged, including several from the Glasgow Moggies. The winners are listed below.

3rd place -1984  AC 3000ME,  Owner:  Ronnie Gordon,  Club: Scottish Western Thoroughbred Vehicle Club.

2nd place -1967 Morris 1000 Traveller, Owner: Kenny Murphy,  Club: Glasgow Moggies

1st Place  – 1974 MG B Roadster,  Owner: Amy Methven,  Club: Stirling MG.

3rd Place – 1929 MG M type,  Owner: Donald Laing, Club:  Strathendrick Classic & Sports Car club.

2nd Place – 1930 Aston Martin International, Owner: The Martin Family, Club: Strathendrick Classic & Sports Car club.

1st Place – 1953 MG TF, Owner: Colin Sherwood, Club: Scottish Western Thoroughbred Vehicle club.
