Early Summer Roundup 2025

It has been a busy start to the summer season for the Glasgow Moggies. Here is a quick round up of what we’ve been up to.

Stirling & District Classic Car Show

We had a great club stand at the ever-popular Stirling & District Classic Car Show.

Our weekender followed. This year it was to the Beamish Museuem, Northumberland. Our little convoy of Moggies made their way via the east coast, taking in some stunning scenery along the way.

We put on a fabulous display of Morris Minors, and one MG, at the Scottish Transport Extravaganza in Angus. Widely regarded as the best show in Scotland, many of our members chose to make another weekend away out of the occasion. Those that attended donated a total of £271 more towards our 2025 charity fundraising campaign for Brightest Star.

Scottish Transport Extravaganza

It was also an opportunity to catch up with our friends at the Scottish North East MMOC and East Coast Moggies, the former of whom had an adjacent stand (featuring a lovely baby Austin).

In other club developments we have launched an online membership system, with integrated online payments. We hope this improves the membership joining and renewal process. We welcome all classic cars provided they were originally designed pre-1980.

We are now looking forward to a Tour de Fife and the Albion Trust’s show in Biggar.
