Jubilee Afternoon Tea

On Saturday 4th June join us at Greenbank Garden, Clarkston, as we celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee with Afternoon Tea!

In conjunction with National Trust for Scotland, Glasgow Morris Minors will put on a display of six Morris Minors directly outside Greenbank House. The Moggies will remain there to be admired by the general public, while owners and their families are enjoying the event.

Children are encouraged to come in fancy dress as a person from British or Commonwealth history.

Vehicle entries are strictly limited to six Morris Minors, on a first-come, first-served basis. This is due to limited space. There are currently (as of 16th April) just two places remaining!

Event tickets for the general public (including any passengers or children accompanying owners) are on sale now.

Relax in the elegant surroundings of our walled garden and picnic zone as the little ones play. Enjoy BBC’s Platinum Party in the Palace Concert which will be playing on the big screen, or get in the competitive spirit with our vintage lawn games.

We’d encourage all kids to come dressed up as a figure from British and Commonwealth history – anything from princes and princesses, to Paddington and Robin Hood! The more the merrier!

A children’s Afternoon Tea Box is also available for the little ones wanting a lighter bite.

Greenbank Garden is an urban oasis in Glasgow’s south aide.
