On Saturday 3rd September 2022 the Giffnock Classic Car Show returned after a two-year hiatus.
Glasgow Morris Minors took along six Morris Minors, three saloons and three Travellers, as well as a classic mini countryman.
Okay, so the weather wasn’t great…but the rain did stay mostly off. There was live music throughout, some of which was very good, and entertainment for children ranging from a bouncy castle to rides and a petting zoo. All of which made it a great family attraction.
There was an interesting and varied mix of cars on show, from American muscle cars to pre-war British. Even a token Talbot, if that takes your fancy.
Attendees enjoyed a bit of banter, shared some offers of help and parts with each other and got speaking to a couple of nice owners that expressed an interest in joining.
We now look forward to the upcoming Outlander Run and welcoming some new faces in due course.
