Sunday 28th August saw a get together of seven owners, five Morris Minors, a Midas and (owing to Morris Minor woes) a VW motorhome.

The group first met for a breakfast in Milngavie. After the sausages and bacon were washed down with coffee it was time to go a drive around the Campsies.

The convoy was led valiantly by the 1955 803cc splitscreen ‘Bertie’ and an enjoyable morning of sociable classic motoring was enjoyed by all. Despite the uphill warning sign on the back of ‘King Kenny’s’ Traveller all made it up in good time. The cars were admired by a number of passers by, who asked lots of questions about them and posed for photos with them.
