Saturday 15th April 2023.
A week ahead of Drive it Day 2023 the Glasgow Moggies organised a little season opener “shakedown run”.
Six Moggies met in Milngavie before setting out for a forty mile Morris Minor adventure in the glorious sunshine. There would have been more Moggies in attendance, but for one or two not quite passing the “leaving the garage” shakedown test!

First stop was Balfron to pay a visit to Lou’s Bake Hut. Who doesn’t like cake, right? Especially when said cakes are sublime.

From Balfron the convoy headed to Ross Priory, which is owned by the University of Strathclyde, on the shore of Loch Lomond. There was a stop off for a bit of lunch, and of course the opportunity presented itself for some more photographs.

After lunch at Ross Priory there was a visit to the old Argyll car factory (Argyll Motor Works) in Alexandria. Thus completing the trip. Shakedown issues identified: nil.

Next for the Glasgow Moggies? Roll on Drive it Day and pray for the same fantastic weather.
